Moto2: Gonzales Smashes Lap Record In Jerez Testing

Manuel Gonzalez on the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP Kalex shattered the outright lap record in the second day of Moto2 World Championship testing in Jerez.

Gonzalez’ 1:39.768 was well under the old mark of 1:40.640 set by Aron Canet in 2023. Canet was second-quickest in practice, the only other rider in the 1:39s. American Joe Roberts was 26th, 1.670 seconds off of Gonzalez’ mark.
